After leaving school, Spencer followed his eventing dream, as a working pupil for Ruth McMullen, Lucinda Green MBE and Mark Todd CBE. After a chance meeting with Carl Hester MBE, he switched to dressage and the pair spent 13 years working together. He won his first Dressage National title in 1999 and in 2006 made his first international debut to date, Spencer has now won thirteen National titles.
Spencer & Jen Goodman’s Super Nova II was selected to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016. Alongside teammates, Carl Hester MBE, Fiona Bigwood and Charlotte Dujardin CBE, they made the nation proud as they brought home the Team Silver Medal.
As well as representing Great Britain at the European Championships at Gothenburg in 2017, the partnership then went on to be part of the Bronze Medal winning team at the World Equestrian Games, Tryon in 2018.
Matt is an international dressage rider & trainer based in Gloucestershire. He started riding when he was six and got his first taste at an equine career with horses when working full time during his A-levels at the Isolde Stud, where he assisted in all aspects at the stud. He received a huge amount of tuition and advice from Danish owners, Jan Andersen and Birgitte Hartmann. Matt then spent time working in Denmark which he credits with making him the rider he is today.
Matt has notched up countless Regional titles, and 6 National titles. He has represented Great Britain and has numerous placings at International CDI level and is now out competing and being well-placed in both small tour and big tour classes.
Isobel Wessels is an international 5* judge and top competitor who has trained riders all over the world. Isobel has trained many horses to grand prix level and won 10 national titles in the United Kingdom aboard her fabulous horse Chagall.
Over the years, Rien has trained many horses and riders to the highest level with an honest and logical training method, based on classical principles.
Rien has been the national team coach of the Finnish and the Dutch dressage team.
As a rider, Rien has been a member of the Dutch dressage team and has competed internationally, including at the World Equestrian Games and European Championships.
